Qualified and experienced counsellors

Qualified and experienced counsellors at Enlighten's helpline are available to offer confidential telephone support to individuals. A wide range of personal and work-related problems can be dealt with, including stress, relationship difficulties, addictions, family concerns, bereavement, depression and employment worries. During the calls, the counsellors also assess the likely benefit of face to face counselling, risks affecting the individual, and the impact of the problem on work. Immediate trauma / critical incident support is available 24 hours a day.

Telephone information

Enlighten's telephone information and guidance services include assistance with legal issues, personal financial matters, medical concerns, younger and elder care and debt. This assistance is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of qualified and experienced professionals. This team gives clients information and support to enable them to understand their situation and the options and resources available to them.
